EUSA 2025

Students rowing at Akademiska represented the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) at European Universities Rowing Championship 2025. The initiative, brought to life by KTH Rowing, enabled the rowers to compete in their first international regatta. The athletes performed very well in men's lightweight double (Oscar Bröte and Julien Michot) and the men's single sculls (João Varela). This large group of students has been preparing for the event for many months. As a team, they worked through every obstacle, including fundraising, and stayed focused on their goal, pushing themselves harder every step of the way. We are curious to see where their determination will take them next!

Studenter som ror på Akademiska representerade Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) vid European Universities Rowing Championship 2025. Initiativet, som startades av KTH Rodd, gjorde det möjligt för atleterna att delta i sin första internationella regatta. De presterade mycket bra i herrarnas lättviktsdubbel (Oscar Bröte och Julien Michot) samt i herrsingel (João Varela).

Denna stora grupp studenter hade förberett sig i många månader inför tävlingen. Som ett lag arbetade de sig igenom varje hinder – inklusive insamling av pengar – och höll fokus på sitt mål, samtidigt som de pressade sig hårdare för varje steg. Vi är nyfikna på att se vart deras beslutsamhet kommer att föra dem härnäst!
