These might be the most committed and funny men in Stockholm! Any day you’ll pass Brunnsviken you’ll see them row for hours, adamant and focused. On the shore they keep the toughest of intervals light with their sense of humor.
We’re proud to say that our competitive rowers, through their dedication, progressed in an admirable way and compete in the regattas on the highest level. We follow and cheer for them from afar when they row for Swedish National Team. But not only, Akademiska gathers a lot of international and exchange students who come from prominent rowing clubs and national teams abroad, it creates a great platform to connect and exchange the training experience. While the competitive rowers stay focused on their goals, they always kindly offer an extra hand with rigging or doing the barbecue duty, which makes them an inseparable part of our community!

Michaela Feiglova and Natalia Daukszewicz win at The 2024 World Rowing Masters Regatta in Brandenburg
A group of women with strong characters, grit and great personalities. Currently they hold the name of three-time Swedish champions in 8+ race. The crew evolves every year, with students coming and going but always remaining one team. Rowing at Akademiska RF is one of the best adventures you’ll ever experience! The ARF women bring a lot of energy to every session, even though they’re on the jetty slightly later than the men. In a mix of aspiring and experienced rowers the group is very supportive, exchanging tips and learning from one another. They balance discipline and fun, without them the boathouse would be silent. Moreover, some of the rowers compete on the highest level for their national teams and regularly win medals at Swedish Championships and World Masters Rowing Regattas!
